Klefen is the result of a habit I have never managed to shake: looking at how something works and wondering whether there is an easier way.

Why Klefen exists
The same question kept following me.
My work has crossed business development, software, training and the practical systems businesses rely on. The industries changed, but I kept seeing how much more businesses could do when their technology properly supported their people.
Klefen began as a side business many years ago. It became my full-time focus because modern software, APIs, automation and AI have made useful, tailored systems practical for more businesses than ever.
Klefen is where those threads meet: understand the business, choose the technology carefully and build a better way of working.
People before technology
Technology only works when it fits the people around it.
My studies at the University of Queensland centred on human behaviour. My working life then took me through business development, software, training and the realities of building and running businesses.
That mix shapes how I work. I want to understand how a business thinks, what its people know and what it is trying to make possible before deciding what should be built.
The best result is not necessarily the most technically impressive one. It is the one people trust, use and can build on.
Founder-led
The person you meet stays involved.
Klefen is deliberately founder-led. If we work together, I am the person asking the questions, thinking through the trade-offs and staying involved as the work takes shape.
I prefer plain conversations, visible progress and honest advice. If AI is useful, I will explain why. If ordinary software is the better answer, I will say that too.
I also designed the Klefen logo. I still like it, so it is staying.
